Wallingford Accessible Boat Club has secured it’s loading point at the Boat House and is looking forward to a full year of service providing access to the water for those of all abulatory abilites.

John Jenkins MBE, Chair of Trustees explained:  “We have worked very hard over the winter period to enable us to increase our trip capacity for this year.  We have just concluded a very successful recruitment drive for additional volunteer crews adding over twenty local individuals to our existing team – now their training is underway and we are very grateful to Oxford Sailing Club for their support with this.  I am delighted to say that six local businesses have agreed to sponsor the charity adding to our resources – Tailormade Building Solutions, Winterbrook Estate Agents, The Dolphin pub, Champions, Pettits of Wallingford and NP Design & Print: our sincere thanks to them all. Additionally, the enhancement of our online Booking System is complete which will considerably smooth the client trip booking process.  This is a big step forward.  And, not least, our Wheelyboat WOW-one has completed its annual service and looks very smart now with its auxiliary outboard engine.  We hope to get it back on the water shortly.”
