With only a few days to go, we’re trying to spread the word – launching this Saturday, 30th April, Wallingford Radio is going to be live on your FM radio.
If you’d be interested in seeing what we are up to, come on down to Ayres Yard on Saturday morning to have a look – and maybe to volunteer!
We are currently looking for a Social Media Manager, Community Co-ordinator, show presenters and more. We provide all neccessary training and would be grateful for your help!
All of our presenters are hosting short versions of their shows on Saturday, allowing a snap-shot of what you can expect over the next few months.
At 10.30 join us for live music from Tom Webber, while at 11.30 local lad Barry Light and co will be playing us through to the ribbon cutting at 12.15.
We’ll be joined by Wallingford Mayor Marcus Harris, former mayor Lee Upcraft, OCC councillor Pete Sudbury and others. Everyone is welcome to come down and have a look, and don’t forget to speak to someone if you’re interested in volunteering!
