Dedicated to radio, Ian has been the starting point for the project that has become Wallingford Radio[\/et_pb_team_member][\/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=”1_2″ _builder_version=”3.29.3″][et_pb_team_member _builder_version=”3.0.48″ background_size=”initial” background_position=”top_left” background_repeat=”repeat”][\/et_pb_team_member][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row column_structure=”1_2,1_2″ _builder_version=”3.29.3″ min_height=”435px” custom_margin=”6px|auto||auto||”][et_pb_column type=”1_2″ _builder_version=”3.29.3″][et_pb_team_member name=”Liam O’Brien” position=”Director \/ Station Manager” image_url=”https:\/\/kosuftv.cluster026.hosting.ovh.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/WhatsApp-Image-2020-01-31-at-00.04.14.jpeg” _builder_version=”4.2.2″ custom_padding=”|62px||||” border_radii_image=”on|500px|500px|500px|500px”]Liam oversees both the technical and output sides of the station, attempting to bring some form of plan to the process.<\/p>\n

Having long held a supporting position, he now cohosts the sunday morning show as well as covering and overseeing the local news output.[\/et_pb_team_member][\/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=”1_2″ _builder_version=”3.29.3″][et_pb_team_member name=”Darren Woodlow” position=”Presenter \/ Technical Mage” image_url=”https:\/\/kosuftv.cluster026.hosting.ovh.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/darren.png” _builder_version=”4.2.2″ custom_padding=”|69px||||” border_radii_image=”on|500px|500px|500px|500px” box_shadow_style_image=”preset1″ box_shadow_vertical_image=”0px” box_shadow_blur_image=”7px”]Aside from keeping the radio on air with his technical know-how, Darren is also part of the Thursday night team.[\/et_pb_team_member][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row column_structure=”1_2,1_2″ _builder_version=”3.29.3″][et_pb_column type=”1_2″ _builder_version=”3.29.3″][et_pb_team_member name=”Richard Strange” position=”Presenter” image_url=”https:\/\/kosuftv.cluster026.hosting.ovh.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/strange.png” _builder_version=”4.2.2″ custom_padding=”|65px||||” border_radii_image=”on|25px|25px|25px|25px”]The voice of the 80’s 90’s show, Richard is a very well known superstar DJ, including his long-running DISCO at the Dolphin.<\/p>\n

Richard has recently started hosting the Ska and Reggae show on a Tuesday.[\/et_pb_team_member][\/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=”1_2″ _builder_version=”3.29.3″][et_pb_team_member name=”Annabel Laver ” position=”Producer” image_url=”https:\/\/kosuftv.cluster026.hosting.ovh.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/annabel.png” _builder_version=”4.2.2″ border_radii_image=”on|20px|20px|20px|20px”]Taking a look at some more people focussed programming, Annabel is currently planning and producing an interview series with local people of note, and planning a writing competition.<\/p>\n

Annabel is also a well know member and supporter of the guides.[\/et_pb_team_member][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row column_structure=”1_2,1_2″ _builder_version=”3.29.3″][et_pb_column type=”1_2″ _builder_version=”3.29.3″][et_pb_team_member name=”Matt Partridge” position=”Presenter” image_url=”https:\/\/wallingfordradio.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/Matt-P-scaled.jpg” _builder_version=”4.2.2″ border_radii_image=”on|20px|20px|20px|20px”]Familiar face behind Reading\u2019s more eclectic turntables in days gone by (Alleycat, Fez Club, Poo Na Na) & known to pop-up across London now and then over the years since (The Social, Wag Club, Barfly).<\/b><\/p>\n

More suited to pushing an assorted mix of off-piste sounds across the medium of radio in recent times, because of its compatibility with comfortable trousers and a nice cup of tea.<\/b><\/p>\n

She has taken on the unenviable task of helping the radio look more professional and slick[\/et_pb_team_member][\/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=”1_2″ _builder_version=”3.29.3″][et_pb_team_member name=”Paul collins” position=”Presenter” image_url=”https:\/\/wallingfordradio.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/paul.jpeg” _builder_version=”4.2.2″ border_radii_image=”on|20px|20px|20px|20px”]Paul is a music nut with over 40 years of gigs under his expanding belt. Previously he had a show on Reading 4u radio and for the past 3 years has championed local artists via the RGNewMusic radio show and online community.<\/p>\n

Paul brings his passion for all music genres to the Saturday Morning Show and the midweek Ska\/Reggae\/Dub show.[\/et_pb_team_member][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row column_structure=”1_2,1_2″ _builder_version=”3.29.3″][et_pb_column type=”1_2″ _builder_version=”3.29.3″][et_pb_team_member name=”Chris Dallas” position=”Presenter” image_url=”https:\/\/wallingfordradio.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/chris.jpeg” _builder_version=”4.2.2″ border_radii_image=”on|20px|20px|20px|20px”]Chris has been a frequent visitor to the area since the summer of 2019, and liking the place and people so much he decided to move here last December.

  • It champions volunteering in the community (the majority of our on-air presenters and off-air helpers are volunteers who receive training in essential skills)<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Individuals and community groups are actively encouraged to take a role in the station to ensure it succeeds in its objective to stimulate community development and capacity building.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Rhodri has many years of on-air experience, including stints on commercial radio across the UK and internationally on Kiss FM Portugal. He presented his first show on Hospital Radio Reading.<\/p>\n

    He is also a stand-up comic known for his eccentric style. This brings an air of unpredictability to his radio shows.<\/p>\n

    Rhodri is like a radio, rail replacement bus! We send him to cover shows and hosts our live events.<\/p>\n
