Wallingford Radio is the volunteer-powered community station for Wallingford and the surrounding South Oxfordshire communities. Broadcasting on 107.3 FM and online, we bring together local voices, great music, useful information and the events and organisations that make our area special.
The station began as an internet-radio project created by three friends in Cholsey. Since then, it has grown into a community service with its own studio, a team of volunteer presenters and producers, and a regular presence at local events.
What we do
- Produce locally made programmes and music shows.
- Share community information and local stories.
- Support local charities, groups and not-for-profit organisations.
- Give local people opportunities to learn broadcasting, production and event skills.
Our team
Wallingford Radio is kept on air by volunteers working both behind the microphone and behind the scenes. Presenters, producers, researchers, technicians, event volunteers and supporters all play a part.
