Wallingford Radio Advertising Terms and Conditions

1. Definitions
- “Station” refers to Wallingford Radio.
- “Advertiser” refers to the individual, company, or organization purchasing advertising.
- “Advertisement” refers to the audio content supplied or commissioned by the Advertiser for broadcast.
- “Broadcast” refers to transmission over Wallingford Radio’s platforms (FM, DAB, online, or app-based streams).
2. Acceptance of Advertising
- All advertisements are subject to approval by the Station.
- The Station reserves the right to reject, remove, or request amendment of any advertisement for any reason, including content deemed inappropriate, misleading, offensive, or non-compliant with applicable laws and regulations.
3. Content Responsibility
- The Advertiser is solely responsible for the content, accuracy, and compliance of their Advertisement with all applicable laws, regulations, and advertising standards.
- The Advertiser warrants that all necessary permissions (e.g., copyright, endorsements) have been obtained.
4. Scheduling and Placement
- The Station will use reasonable efforts to broadcast Advertisements at the agreed times and dates but does not guarantee exact placement or timing unless explicitly agreed in writing.
- The Station reserves the right to reschedule Advertisements due to technical issues, program changes, or exceptional circumstances.
5. Payment Terms
- Payment must be made according to the invoice terms provided by the Station.
- Advertising slots will not be confirmed until payment arrangements are agreed.
- Late payments may result in suspension of advertising and/or additional fees.
6. Cancellation and Changes
- Cancellations must be submitted in writing at least 14 Days before the scheduled first broadcast date.
- Cancellations received after this period may be subject to a cancellation fee up to 50%of the total booking cost.
- Requests for changes to advertisements must be submitted in writing and may incur additional production or administrative fees.
7. Liability
- The Station accepts no liability for errors in advertisements beyond a refund of the amount paid for the specific broadcast in question.
- The Station is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from failure to broadcast or from broadcast errors.
- The Advertiser indemnifies the Station against any claims, damages, or expenses arising from the broadcast of their Advertisement.
8. Force Majeure
- The Station is not liable for any failure or delay in broadcasting Advertisements due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to technical failure, natural disasters, or legal restrictions.
9. Compliance
- All advertising must comply with relevant regulations, including OFCOM guidelines, UK Code of Broadcast Advertising (BCAP Code), and any other applicable laws.
- Political, religious, or controversial advertising may be subject to additional restrictions.
10. Agreement
- By placing an order for advertising, the Advertiser agrees to these Terms and Conditions.
- Any changes to these Terms must be agreed in writing by both parties.
