Didcot Town football club is facing closure and is currently fundraising to secure its future.
Following a run of bad weather reducing crowds at Loop Meadow, followed by the corona-virus restrictions, Didcot FC has launched a gofundme to raise £10,000. As of the 13th April, £4,400 had been raised, with funds being raised both from direct donations as well as the auctioning of a signed shirt.
The club has been in existence since 1907, however the recent run of bad luck has seen no income since their last home game of February the 1st. That game, which they won 2-0 against Thame United, has left the club currently sat 17th in Division One Central of the Southern League. However with all football currently suspended, there is no word on if the season will be completed.
